--- Session Speaker ---

Alison has been working with recording artists, groups, bands, speakers and more since 1999. She works hand and hand with indie artists and record labels, from coffee houses to Carnegie Hall. She also coaches every genre of music from rock to CCM. In addition to coaching bands, Ali also travels North America speaking to artists at Camps and Conferences about the art of stage communication.
Music is Ali’s life, as she is also a multi-award winning songwriter and married to a record producer. Together Scott and Alison also speak specifically to Worship Teams about the call of Worship and how it is carried out musically and visually in churches today.
Ali will be joining us at the Focus Worship Conference to inspire and instruct us in the art and science of leading others to worship our awesome God. She will help us see how we can attract (and distract) attention to Jesus. If you are serious about creating moments with eternal meaning in worship, you will not want to miss Ali’s session!

Fred says, “I grew up like every little kid in the South, bikes, baseball, and fried chicken. However, that all changed after I heard the music of James Brown for the first time. From that moment on, guitar was for me. Even though my career as a guitarist began at an early age, I will always be a student of the guitar.
Formal training consisted of Albany Junior College, under the wings of F D Grabill, band director and Frank Yakotz, theory instructor. Also, attended Berklee School of Music to sharpen my skills.
I spent many years touring with many acts and performing many styles of music. Jazz, funk, rock, country, and blues, to name a few. My passion of playing guitar motivated me to be as versatile a player as possible.
In May of 1999, I surrendered my life to Christ, the most important decision I have ever made. I am so thankful to God for the gift of music that he has given me. Daily, I pray, that he finds favor in the gift that I give back to Him.”
